Formed in Dublin, Ireland in 1976 as teenagers with limited expereince and means U2 had started out as a post punk alt /indie band. By the mid 1980s they had become one of the worlds leading rock acts.
Rattle and Hum is the name of both an album and its companion motion picture recorded by U2 in 1988 and represented their previous years 1987 Joshua Tree Tour both on and off stage. The photo shown on the filmcell is the official image asscociated with Ratlle and Hum and is a floodlit silouette of enigmatic lead singer Bono.
