After moving in together in an impossibly beautiful New York apartment, New York writer Carrie Bradshaw (Parker) and Mr. Big (Chris Noth) make a rather arbitrary decision to get married. As the wedding guest list quickly blooms her three best girlfriends Samantha (Cattrall), Charlotte (Davis) and Miranda (Nixon) must console her after one of them inadvertently leads Mr. Big to jilt her.
