Gerrard made his Liverpool debut in 1998, he cemented his place in the first team in the 2000–01 season and succeeded Sami Hyypiä as Liverpool Captain in 2003. As featured Gerrard can be seen celebrating with his team after winning the famous 2005 UEFA Champions League Final and was named as UEFA's Footballer of the Year for his key role in the final and throughout the 2004-05 Champions League season.
